Two brothers learning where wealth advisors spend their time.
We're a software engineer and a consultant exploring where technology can save advisors time and help them provide more value. We're early in building our company, and we're starting by listening and understanding what's challenging for folks like you in the industry.
Why we're doing this
We're brothers who grew up in Parker, Colorado, and we've spent our careers on opposite sides of the evolving tech landscape. Etash is a software engineer who has been writing code for over a decade and has launched several products for Silicon Valley's fastest growing startups. Deepaksh is a consultant who has spent his career inside businesses implementing new technologies and process automations end-to-end.
Deepaksh and Etash Kalra
Both brothers have been immersed in the world of finance from a young age.
Deepaksh started learning how to invest his money after getting his first job at 17, started contributing to his 401k
at age 20, and learned how to file his taxes independently every year. After getting his first job in Silicon Valley, Etash
started helping his friends learn how to invest, and has been a proponent paying yourself first and
focusing on consistency over emotions when building wealth.
The more we learned about building wealth, the more we discovered the importance for families to
find advisors they trust and learn how to manage their lives with a solid plan.
As technologists, we want to help advisors serve more families. We know many folks in wealth management and financial
planning spend a meaningful share of their time on work that technology could be handling. That's the intersection
that we want to understand first, and eventually build for.
Where we are
We don't have a product, and we're not trying to sell you anything. We're in the earliest stage of building a company: talking with wealth advisors, financial planners, and the operations teams behind them to understand their work in detail.
We're especially curious about the work that happens around the client relationship: the prep, follow-up, documentation, and coordination that can eat into the hours advisors would rather spend with clients. Long term, we hope software can take real work off advisors' plates, not just add another tool to manage. But we'd rather learn what's actually worth building than guess.
What a conversation looks like
20–30 minutes, in-person, over the phone, or video
We ask about your workflows, what frustrates you, and what you've tried
No demo, no pitch, no follow-up sales sequence
Afterward, we'll share a summary of what we're hearing from other advisors, if you'd like it
And if a conversation surfaces a problem you'd like solved, we're open to working on it with you. Early partners help shape what we build.
